At the meeting, Prof. Wang Yifang, spokesperson for JUNO and director of the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, briefed on the significant progress of the JUNO construction. Since the last meeting, the installation of the detector has made considerable headway, with two-thirds of the acrylic vessel now in place. Installations of photomultiplier tubes, electronics, magnetically shielded coils, and Tyvek reflective films are roughly halfway complete. The liquid scintillator mixing and purification systems have been successfully commissioned. The installation of the liquid scintillator background online monitoring detector (OSIRIS) has been installed and initiated its filling process. Additionally, the Taishan Antineutrino Detector (TAO) has finished its 1:1 prototype phase and the installation will start soon. In the context of the meeting, the various subsystems and analysis working groups organized 36 parallel sessions of reports and discussions. During the plenary sessions, each subsystem reported the latest progress and outlined future research plans.  With the data acquisition phase on the horizon, physics working groups and analysis foundation groups also delivered their progress reports for the first time.

The meeting concluded with a comprehensive 3-day hands-on training session for users of distributed computing. This session included a thorough introduction of distributed computing platform, guidance on user authentication, physical data usage, and procedures for physical job submission. This training is important for the physics analysis of JUNO utilizing the distributed computing platform.
